Our beautiful Petitgrain essential oil from Italy is a premium selection steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the tree, offering a vibrant floral-citrus aroma.
Our exceptional Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium) essential oil comes from Italy and is steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree, which is the same tree that yields neroli essential oil from its blossoms and bitter orange oil from the rind of its ripe fruit. The bitter orange tree is native to the Far East but has become well adapted in the Mediterranean regions, as well as in California, Florida and South America. It is an evergreen tree with glossy oval leaves and highly fragrant white flowers. It grows to about 30 feet in height.
